Fine Lines and Wrinkles
You might have heard of celebs getting Botox and ending up with ‘frozen face’ — we don’t blame you if that put you off! It’s obviously a valid concern and it really comes down to where you go for your treatment if it’s something you’re interested in.
The first thing to say is Botulinum toxin isn’t an off the shelf medicine anyway, it’s a prescription medicine which means it should only be administered where a trained medical professional deems it appropriate following a consultation for lines and wrinkles.
Secondly, responsible practitioners only ever seek to give their patients subtle improvements to the way they look. At Smile Up we would never consent to anything more, even if a patient was expressly asking us for it. (There are plenty of places that would, but we don’t think it’s advisable.)
