Ricky qualified in 1998 from the University Central Venezuela where he gained a first class honours degree and he was awarded his first degree in Lisbon University a year later. After a period working in private practice in Madeira, his ancestral home, he decided to move to London, where he has been living and working since 2002. (He’s now a fiercely proud Londoner!) Having worked in both NHS and private practice, Ricky is passionate about the impact and importance of maintaining good oral health on general heath and wellbeing. With a special interest in orthodontics, he has taken part in numerous training programmes in the UK and internationally and is currently working towards an MSc in orthodontics. He has extensive experience of orthodontic cases, working with children and adults using traditional braces as well as Invisalign. Opening Smile Up Dental in 2015, Ricky knows the importance of combining excellent and professional clinical care with a relaxed and straightforward approach — a philosophy shared by all the team at Smile Up. Following a family tradition, Ricky is a keen foodie and loves to cook and entertain at home, and he is particularly known for his baking. Also a regular at the gym, Ricky likes to keep fit.

Victoria joined the SmileUp Dental team in 2018 bringing with her considerable experience of Periodontics as well as 12 years experience of implantology.  She has worked with the leading implant systems including Biohorizon, Ankylos Nobel Biocare and Straumman on cases from single unit to full mouth rehabilitation.

Originally qualifying in 2000 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, Victoria subsequently completed postgraduate training in Periodontics and Oral Medicine, at Universidad El Bosque.

Moving to London with her family, Victoria attained GDC registration in 2008 and in 2012 undertook further training in Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

When not in work Victoria loves to keep fit both in the gym and outdoors.  She is also a keen skier, a passion she shares with her husband, son and daughter.

Graduating in 2002 from Los Andes University, Venezuela Barbara moved to London where in 2006 she achieved the International Qualifying Exam and has practiced here ever since.

As well as general family dentistry, Barbara has a special interest in cosmetic dental care having undertaken postgraduate training in advanced aesthetic dentistry and has helped patients to achieve their desired appearance outcomes through procedures such as cosmetic bonding and veneers at the Eastman Dental Institute in London.  She is also a certified “Six Months Smiles” provider (adult, short-term, fixed cosmetic orthodontics) and a certified Invisalign Go provider (adult, short term, removable cosmetic orthodontics).

Married with two children, her husband is a professional chef and Barbara shares his passion for good food with the whole family loving to spend time together experimenting in the kitchen.  A lover of ballet, contemporary dancing and singing (both watching and as an amateur performer), Barbara also counts a few years on the static trapeze in her catalogue of outside interests.  Also a keen cyclist, she often lead the family on long treks.

Dr Yulianna Greco is a highly qualified dental professional who has been practicing dentistry for over 16 years. She qualified as a DDS in 2001 from The University of Zulia in Venezuela. Following this, Dr Greco pursued her Master of Science in Endodontics (MSD) at the International University of Catalonia, graduating in 2005.

Since then, Dr Greco has been providing high quality dental care to patients in Spain. She has a special interest in Endodontics, which is the branch of dentistry that focuses on the treatment of the inner portion of the tooth, including the pulp and roots.

As part of her pursuit of academic excellence, Dr Greco also completed a PhD program at the University of Barcelona. During this time, she also lectured, sharing her knowledge and expertise with other aspiring dental professionals, delivered clinical presentations and published articles in scientific journals.

Dr Greco’s clinical practice is solely focused on Endodontics, which allows her to provide patients with the highest level of specialised care in this area.

Dr Taison Lee graduated from King’s College London in 2022 with degrees in both Dentistry and Chemistry with Biomedicine.

He is a caring and thoughtful dentist who understands that a trip to the dentist can be an anxious experience for many people. His gentle manner, patience and genuine passion for dentistry help patients feel relaxed, supported and confident throughout their treatment. He takes time to listen, explain and ensure that every visit feels comfortable.

Taison has a strong interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, providing high quality cosmetic fillings, crowns, veneers and composite bonding. Dedicated to continually improving his skills, he takes great pride in delivering precise results tailored to each patient. He is currently enrolled in a year-long programme in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry taught by the renowned Dr Chris Orr.

Beyond dentistry, Taison enjoys a full and active life. He is an avid traveller who loves exploring new cultures and experiences. He is also a keen foodie, always looking for new restaurants and dishes to try. When he’s not discovering new places or flavours, he enjoys staying active by playing tennis.

Dr. Marco Vinattieri Amelotti is a dedicated clinician and internationally recognized expert in the field of Implant Dentistry. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to academic excellence, clinical precision, and global collaboration.

He began his professional journey with a Diploma in Dental Laboratory Technology from the State Institute of Higher Education “Leonardo da Vinci” in Florence, Italy (2008–2013), gaining in-depth knowledge of prosthetic and laboratory techniques. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the International University of Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain (2014–2019), where he deepened his expertise in comprehensive dental care.

Dr. Vinattieri Amelotti has further advanced his training in Implant Dentistry through a full-time Clinical Fellowship at the Tarnow Wing of the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. This immersive two-year program provided extensive hands-on surgical training and interdisciplinary exposure to advanced techniques in implant and regenerative dentistry. During this time, he was actively involved in academic research, contributed to publication efforts, and presented clinical and scientific work at professional meetings across the United States. His cross-disciplinary background in both clinical and laboratory sciences positions him uniquely within the field of implantology.

In 2020, he obtained dental licenses in Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, affirming his capacity to deliver high-standard care across borders. Dr. Vinattieri Amelotti has lectured internationally on surgical protocols, digital workflows, and implant-supported rehabilitation, contributing to continuing education initiatives for dentists and nurses alike.

As a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, he remains at the forefront of evidence-based implantology. His work is driven by a passion for excellence, innovation, and the elevation of standards in surgical and restorative implant dentistry worldwide.

Stuart earned his BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy (awarded with Distinction in Clinical Dental Hygiene) from the University of Birmingham in 2012. With a distinguished 12-year career in both NHS and private practice, Stuart has an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional oral care. Stuart relocated to London in January 2024 after spending much of his life studying and working in Birmingham. Stuart now only provides private dentistry and has built up a fantastic reputation with his patients.

His broad responsibilities include a variety of procedures like scaling and polishing, along with restorative treatments such as fillings and composite bonding. Demonstrating a keen passion for staying at the forefront of dental advancements, Stuart is proficient in implementing the latest techniques. This includes his expertise in Guided Biofilm Therapy/Airflow treatment, particularly beneficial for addressing advanced gum disease and for effective stain removal. He also enjoys providing teeth whitening and has successfully treated hundreds of patients.

Stuart is particularly attuned to addressing the needs of patients with dental anxiety. He derives great satisfaction from restoring confidence in dentistry, successfully assisting numerous patients in overcoming past negative experiences and fostering long-term loyalty through trust-building.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Stuart places a high value on personal wellness through regular exercise, predominantly favouring gym workouts. In his leisure time, he enjoys the delightful companionship of his two miniature dachshunds, who hold a cherished place in his life, and who he talks a lot about.

With a corporate career in human resource management, Russ has held leadership roles in several global blue chip organisations where he has gained experience of all aspects of general management.

Responsible at Smile Up for all business management and administration activities including commercial, legal, financial and HR, Russ has a graduate degree in law as well as the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development’s professional qualification.

Russ enjoys music, good food and the wide variety of both London has to offer. He also loves the outdoors, whether it’s rambling in the countryside or exploring a new city.
