Our Coronavirus Update

As promised in my post last week, I write to update you on the measures we are taking with immediate effect at SmileUp Dental following the Government’s latest announcement last evening.

With immediate effect our clinic will be closed and appointments for the following 21 days cancelled. There is no need to contact us to change any booking you might have scheduled in this period and we will be in touch with you in the coming days to discuss suitable future alternative appointment arrangements.

A small number of our team will continue to work remotely between 9.30am and 1.30pm daily and we can be contacted either on our usual telephone number during these hours (0203 411 1550) or by email ([email protected]). Whilst we will be unable to offer face to face clinical consultations, a member of the Dental team will be available daily for virtual emergency consultations by video call to provide advice and support with any emergency dental problems and to assist signposting and access to facilities for emergency dental treatment where required. The whole team are concerned to continue supporting your dental questions and concerns as best we can throughout these unprecedented times and the virtual video call emergency consultations will be offered free of charge to you as an existing member of the SmileUp Dental family.

Throughout this period we will also be available for virtual video call initial consultation conversations for orthodontic, dental implant and cosmetic dentistry (veneers and cosmetic bonding). These virtual initial consultation discussions are also free of charge

I will continue to keep you updated of any further actions and measures put in place to ensure we continue to provide you with the best and safest dental care and support possible at this time. Both I and the whole team continue to closely follow the daily development of advice and guidance from the British Dental Association, Public Health England and the UK Government pertaining to COVID-19 discussing how we best implement this.
