Dermal fillers are an antiaging cosmetic treatment that add volume to the face, injected as a liquid solution under the skin of the face or lips. Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body.

As the skin ages, it gradually loses some of its collagen and fat. Dermal fillers help to restore skin to its former youthful appearance by targeting wrinkles and restoring volume providing a natural softer look. Treatment is not permanent, and the result can last between 6 and 18 months depending on type of filler used and where it’s injected.

Areas treated include lips, cheek, nasolabial folds and the chin.

With Botulinum toxin (a prescription medicine that may be offered after a consultation for lines and wrinkles) small, virtually painless injections give your wrinkles some time off so they begin to soften; you won’t look 20 years younger but you can expect a more natural and relaxed look.

It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results and the effects last for 3 to 4 months, although with repeated treatments they can last longer. Sometimes, to achieve the best results, wrinkle reduction treatment is used in combination with dermal fillers.

Dermal fillers immediately reduce lines on your face and lift certain areas, giving you a younger and refreshed look that lasts between 6 and 24 months.

Profhilo® is an injectable moisturiser that helps to regenerate the “youthfulness of the tissue”. It boosts and hydrates the skin and remodels ageing and sagging skin. Developed with IBSA’S patented NAHYCO technology, Profhilo® is a highly purified hyaluronic acid that does not contain chemicals (cross-linking agents) to modify the structure, therefore reducing the risk of adverse reactions.

Highly biocompatible it integrates into the tissue to restore the levels of hyaluronic acid naturally found in the skin. Profhilo® is a highly effective treatment with an immediate tightening effect in areas traditionally difficult to treat such as the neck, décolleté, hands and arms.
