Tooth removal

Although permanent teeth can (and should) last a lifetime, there comes a point where damaged teeth are best removed in the interests of your oral health.

There are lots of reasons to remove a tooth such as tooth decay, problematic wisdom teeth or to make room for orthodontic treatment.

What’s so good about tooth removal?

  • Whatever pain has been bothering you will stop.
  • Further damage to your other teeth and gums from badly positioned or infected teeth will stop.
  • Your general oral health will benefit.

What to expect

We’ll check your medical history before starting and if it’s safe to go ahead you’ll be given local anaesthetic. If you’re really worried to the point where you think you may not be able to go ahead with the procedure we can discuss dental sedation.

If you’d like to make an appointment you can do it here or give us a ring on 0203 411 1550.
