ARIE YUFFA

Dental Surgeon with Special Interest in Oral Surgery and Sedation

Arie graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Dentistry at Universidad Santa Maria in Venezuela. Offered the opportunity to work with a former University tutor, Arie moved to the UK in 2010 where he was appointed junior doctor for oral and maxillofacial surgery in Birmingham.

Arie is trained in conscious sedation and is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. He has completed an initial fellowship in implant dentistry (University of Miami) and a foundation in implant dentistry with the International Team for Implantology.

Arie also works as a specialty doctor in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. He’s authored various publications within the surgical field and is an Apple-certified developer of the Oral and Maxiofacial Surgery Handbook mobile app.

Arie is recently married and he really enjoys travelling and has a massive interest in the graphic and performing arts as well as technology, snowboarding, mountain biking and playing the guitar. On top of that he somehow finds time to be a member of the British Kendo Association and practice Japanese swordsmanship.
